Valentines Day

The Station is perfect for a 'Brief Encounter' romantic weekend break. Experience the atmosphere and romance of the steam train era with your loved one in Devon’s finest old railway station this Valentine’s Day.

Short breaks are available Friday 13 February - Monday 16 February. Prices from £140 per night, including cream tea on arrival and complimentary champagne, flowers and chocolates on Valentine's Day

We can help make anniversaries, birthdays, Mother’s Day or other special occasions even more luxurious by supplying champagne, wine, flowers or an organic hamper of local produce. If you wish to take advantage of any of these additions please let us know prior to your arrival and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Short Breaks

Mid week and weekend short breaks are available from September – June. Weekend breaks consist of three nights from Friday to Monday, (Saturday to Tuesday in the Ticketing Hall) and midweek breaks consist of four nights, Monday to Friday (Tuesday to Saturday in the Ticketing Hall).

Children and Babies

We can provide a cot, highchair and stair gate upon request. There is a shared garden at the front of the station, which offers wonderful views of the moor and town and a small-grassed area for children.

Groups

The Station is ideal for groups of friends and families. Each house has an enclosed and private section of the old platform. This area can be opened to be an even larger space, (should two or more houses be booked), ideal for a family barbeque.

The possible house combinations are:

• The Ticketing Hall + Refreshment Hall sleeps 10 + 2
• The Ticketing Hall + Refreshment Hall + Porter’s Office sleeps 14 + 3
• The Ticketing Hall + Porter’s Office sleeps 8 + 2
• The Porter’s Office + Refreshment Hall sleeps 10 + 2 (The platform will remain divided for this combination).
